 Tuesday, August 31, 2010 The Inter-Regional Educational Forum "Volga-2010" has come to an end. This forum has been held since August 22 near Sarpinsky Lake, Volgogradsky Distr. Head of Volgograd, R.Grebennikov, unexpectedly visited the forum’s closing ceremony. By the way, Roman Georgievich is the main initiator of this forum. Mayor of Volgograd thanked Japan delegation that had arrived from Germany to participate in the forum’s work.
Delegations from the Chechen Republic and Ingushetia were paid particular attention too. Representatives of some Caucasian republics were invited to the stage to do their national dance that drew thunderous applause.Besides it, there were a lot of magnificent moments we’d like to tell about. For example, children from the Chechen Republic and Ingushetia showed rather good abilities in sports competitions, intellectual games etc. Moreover, the Chechen children’s way of cooking a shish kebab became legend. An excellent social TV project named «Business- active youth» was presented by one of the Volgograd HEI’s postgraduate, Turkaev Ibragim. However, this project can not be granted because grants were stipulated only for local Volgograd projects and Turkaev’s project was for Grozny city. Besides it, a number of interesting offers were made and considered at the forum’s final meeting. So, this forum revealed a lot of active, ideological, patriotically-oriented and simply interesting and talented young people.
