 ‘The employment programme for invalids’ was the topic for discussion at the Chechen Republic president’s meeting with the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Magomed Akhmadov. Magomed Akhmadov informed that the invalids had found employment thanks to this new programme. Besides it, the disabled are welcome to go ahead with their business-plans.
“The Federal Center has approved the employment programme for invalids drawn up by our ministry. 17 invalids have already found employment. Our ministry allocates money for the employer so that he can pay these invalids for their work. Besides it, 150 invalids have already been given grants for doing their own business,”- Akhmadov reported.
After it, he noted that his ministry together with the Society of the Disabled, Visually Impaired and Hearing Impaired were working on providing all the above-mentioned people with employment.
SO, a clothes factory has been opened in Grozny for people with disabilities, Akhmadov added.
R.Kadyrov expressed his hope that this factory would be strong support for the disabled.
Later, Akhmadov informed the president that his ministry was paying unemployment benefits in time and performing its services well.
