A meeting of officers of the Chechen Republic Ministry of Internal Affairs has been held today in the ChRMIA. The Chechen Republic president, Ramzan Kadyrov, took an active part in it. He was reported on the work done in March and April by the Chechen law-enforcement agencies. Ruslan Alkhanov, the Minister of the ChRMIA, reported that they ‘successfully performed those tasks facing them’. “Four members of the armed gangs were eliminated in Naursky district and on the Ingush territory in March and April. Twelve weapons stores of gangsters were revealed within this period of time,” – Alkhanov informed. R. Alkhanov noted that the desired results had been achieved by the Departments of Internal Affairs in Shalinsky, Nadterechny, Achkoy-Martanovsky, Kurchaloevsky and Staropromyslovsky districts. “Besides it, some measures were taken to stop drug and alcohol abuse in the republic,”- Alkhanov said.  The Chechen Republic president, Ramzan Kadyrov, thanked the officers of the Minister of Internal Affairs for their effective work. He noted that other District Departments of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs did not achieve any results. “No results have been achieved in eight districts of the republic last month. We must come to a logical conclusion. Your results are impressive but other departments of the Chechen Republic Ministry of Internal Affairs don’t work. If there is no work for them in their districts then they must help to the neighboring ones. You must be very well informed about everything happening in the republic.
