The Chechen Republic president, Ramzan Kadyrov, answered Kazakh journalists’ questions today. R.Kadyrov informed that the Chechen Airlines would start flying to Astana in the future. He said that “it will develop cultural and business relations between the Chechen Republic and Kazakhstan”. "Nearly 100 thousand Chechens are living in your country; over 70 thousand Chechens have been granted citizenship. Our young people are studying at the HEIs of Kazakhstan. A number of our compatriots come back home to visit their relatives in the ChR. Therefore, we plan to start flying to Astana,” - R.Kadyrov said.
He also emphasized that there was a close relationship between two nations.“We’ll do everything to strengthen friendly relations between Russians and Kazakhs. There is a close business relationship between us and Kazakh government too,” – R. Kadyrov added. Besides it, the president emphasized that the Kazakh people had helped the Chechen people at a particularly hard (for Chechens) time. " The Kazakh nation helped the Chechens during the deportation period. Nowadays, the president of Kazakhstan, Noursultan Nazarbaev, helps us again. He provided funding for many Chechen building projects. A street and a school in Grozny were named in honour of Noursultan Nazarbaev. My father was born in Kazakhstan. My ancestors were buried there. I visited Kazakhstan and visited my ancestors’ graves. My father and grandfather told me: - “Help your brothers-Kazakhs wherever you are.” I’ll keep following it,” – R.Kadyrov said. The Chechen president wished the Kazakh people every success. Press Service of the Chechen Republic President and Government www.ChechnyaTODAY.com |
