 Names of “Golden people” prize winners were announced in Istanbul, Turkey. As usual, “Golden people” award ceremony will gather a lot of outstanding people from different corners of the world. According to the information given by media holding MIR YAPIM (it is the founder and organizer of the prize), names of two outstanding statesmen, who had made a huge contribution to the peace process in SE Europe and Caucasus, are on the list of prize winners.
The former president of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alee Izzetbegovic, was awarded the prize for his contribution to the peace process in SE Europe (the Balkans). The former president of the Chechen Republic, Akhmat-Hajji Kadyrov, was awarded the prize for his contribution to the peace process in the Caucasus. “These prizes are some kind of a tribute that we can pay to those outstanding people, who laid down your life. We bow to them so that to show our respect”, - statements from the press release given by MIR YAPIM. The grand award ceremony will be held in the middle of June in Istanbul. |
