A month of cleanliness is going on

More than one and a half thousand local residents have already taken part in a month of cleanliness in Shalinsky district of the Chechen Republic. People are clearing out every site and even the banks and channels of such rivers as Argun, Hulhulau, Bass and Jalka. A head of Shalinsky District Administration, Sajd-Ramzan Zakaev informed that people were working with pleasure, thus, performing the presidential task. “Mass public action is being held in each area of Shalinsky district. The employees of municipal bodies are not the only who take part in this month of cleanliness. Senior pupils, employees of the District Department of Internal Affairs, servicemen and others are participating in the mass public action too,’-Zakaev said. He informed that the total number of machinery involved in this subbotnik (a day of voluntary unpaid labour) was 43. ‘Each head of the local municipal bodies are cleaning out their adjoining properties,’- an assistant head of Shalinsky District, U.Nuradiev said.
