DOSAAF plans to involve the servicemen in training the Chechen youth to be the patriots, Saleh Nuradiev, the chairman of a regional branch of the All-Russian Public and State Organization ‘DOSAAF’, informed. He noted that ‘DOSAAF’ was one of the responsible organizations for battle training of citizens. “We have decided that it is necessary to begin such kind of training at schools. That’s why we think it is reasonable to revive the Russian former military-patriotic games as ‘Summer lightning’ and ‘Eaglet’ (‘Zarnitsa’, ‘Orlenok’) and also NVP at our schools. We’ll appoint the officers, recently dismissed because of the all-Russia armed forces reform, as NVP teachers at our schools,’- Nuradiev said. He also added that the teenagers would have an opportunity to attend driver training courses, operator and radioman training courses etc. in their local sports clubs. It will be done for the purpose of training future recruits from the Chechen Republic. Nuradiev emphasized that the Grozny DOSAAF was well-equipped and had its own base for training future men due for call-up.
