 The Chechen Republic president Ramzan Kadyrov has issued new decree on establishing the Russian Federation Commission’s UNESCO Committee in the Chechen Republic. This Committee has been established for the purpose of maintaining integrated cooperation of the Chechen Republic with UN. The Committee’s functions are to assist the republic’s participation in all programmes and ceremonies which are held by UNESCO, to inform and consult the republic law enforcement bodies, organizations and scientists working in UNESCO’s sphere, to perform all tasks set by the Russian Commission on UNESKO etc.
Speaker of the Chechen Republic Parliament Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov will head the newly established Committee. Chairman of the Committee is now forming the Committee membership. Press Service of the Chechen Republic President and Government |
