 Today the Customs has been opened in the Chechen Republic. Among those present at the opening were Ramzan Kadyrov, Alexander Getman, Aghepsim Ashkabov and Konstantin Kuchkin. The Chechen President congratulated all employees of the Chechen Customs on this ‘crucial event’. The President said: “In 2004, our former Chechen President Ahmat-Hajji Kadyrov tasked himself with establishing the Customs in the republic, thus improving relations between Russia and Chechnya. It was his wish; and it has come true today.”
A.Getman noted that the Chechen Republic leadership had created good working conditions for employees of the Customs.Getman said: “I thank the Chechen Republic President and government for their effective cooperation in creating working conditions for employees of the Customs.” Five new cars were given to the Chechen Customs on Ramzan Kadyrov’s initiative. Besides it, Ramzan Kadyrov informed of that the first international flight from Chechnya to Saudi Arabia would be made soon. He added that ‘recently the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and the Chairman of the Russian Government Vladimir Putin promised to help in giving Grozny airport an international status’.
