 A Chairman of the Russian Federation State Duma Security Committee Vladimir Vasilev met with Chechen Republic youth delegation at the All-Russia forum "Seliger-2009". During his meeting Vasilev said that the abolition of the counterterrorist regime on the territory of the Chechen Republic would favorably affect its social and economic development. He told that Chechen people in Tverskaya area help local people to improve friendly relations with other regions.
“Chechen businessmen furnished financial assistance to the House of Culture in Danilovka village of Tverskaya area. It was one of the programmes improving friendly relations. Showing national customs and traditions in the given House of Culture helped to resolve local conflict between two cultures,” Vladimir Vasilev informed. Adnan Bachaev, a head of the Information Department of the Chechen Government Youth Affairs Committee, proposed his initiative on holding Days of culture of Tverskaya area in the Chechen Republic. “This idea may become the beginning of productive dialogue between Russian regions.
