 Problems of the Chechen modern variety art and ways of dealing with these problems were discussed at the meeting of the Chechen Republic’s head with the local intelligentsia. Among those present (invited) at the meeting were the well-known composers and poets composing songs for the Chechen singers.

 The Chechen Republic Government’s Chairman Odes Baisultanov has held a meeting with the Cabinet ministers that together considered and passed more that 25 resolutions. The approved report on executing the Chechen budget for 2010’ was one of the resolutions passed at the meeting. Ali Isaev gave detailed report on this document.

 The Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov became the leader of an operative (working) group for the purpose of developing Argun city, the information came from R.Kadyrov himself at his meeting with the members of the Chechen Republic Government and heads of contract organizations. Among those present at the meeting were the Chechen Government’s Chairman and Vice-Chairman Odes Baisultanov and Magomed Daudov, State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov and Argun’s Mayor Ibragim Temirbaev.

 Achievements of the Chechen Republic Writers’ Union for 2010 have been discussed today during the interview conducted in “Grozny” News Agency. In answer to the journalists’ question, Kanta Ibragimov said that the current year was ‘notable for that fact that the Chechen Republic Writers’ House had been reconstructed’. It is worthy of note that the Chechen Republic Writers’ House is an architectural monument of XIX century, that, fortunately, was not destroyed during the wars.
